WILLIAMS, Ariz. — Campgrounds south of the Grand Canyon on Kaibab National Forest land are opening for the summer this week.
Four campgrounds on the forest’s Williams Ranger District are set to open Tuesday at Kaibab Lake, Cataract Lake, Dogtown Lake, and White Horse Lake. The Arizona Game and Fish Department has stocked the lakes with fish.

Maine hiker survives 4 days in southern Utah wilderness

A Maine hiker has been rescued after spending four days in the remote Southern Utah high desert with a broken leg and no shelter.
