This year marks the 14th annual National Trails Day Celebration for Weber Pathways. This year Weber Pathways is partnered with Riverdale City for the event.
Activities begin with a bird walk at 7:30 a.m. and will continue until noon on Saturday, June 2.
At 9 a.m., Riverdale City will dedicate a memorial plaque for Nancy Brough who died last November. Brough served three terms on the Riverdale City Council and was a member of the Weber Pathways board for many years. Through her tireless efforts, she played a major role in the creation of the Riverdale portion of the Weber River Parkway.
The dedication will take place at the Kayak Park on the Weber River, a 5-minute walk northwest from the Riverdale Civic Center.
There will be many activities for all ages as well as live music with food and beverage donated by Weber Pathways sponsors.
This is a celebration of all of the trails in Weber County that have been constructed for the benefit of all residents.
Weber Pathways proudly invites everyone to enjoy our outstanding outdoor recreation.
Richard White is past chair of Weber Pathways.
